Don't own it. Believe me, I don't.

As Peter handed his blade to the dwarf, Edmund drew his own sword. It felt far too long since he'd last held the gleaming weapon in his hand. The last time, he'd been...much older. Yet the hilt still fit perfectly in the curve of his palm, his fingers wrapped in the old grooves as though only a day had passed.
The dwarf gave him a look of disbelief, doubting his skill as a swordsman. But Edmund could find no doubt in himself. Once he had been King Edmund the Just, a swordsman far better even than Peter, and even as the boy he was now, King Edmund was still inside him, waiting to be woken from his slumber.
Edmund's left hand itched for want of a second sword, another weapon to bring him back to full strength and ability, but this was not the time. This was a simple challenge, a harmless duel to prove the truth of him and his siblings. The second blade would have to wait.
The duel was quickly won. Forgotten footwork and half-remembered tricks, muscles long unused, all roared back to life as though they had been awaiting this moment to come back into play. The dwarf's shocked stare would have been enough to make any lesser boy gloat and laugh, but the king's graciousness shown forth in Edmund's nod and his movement to assist the dwarf to his feet. And as he straightened, Edmund smiled, tightening his grip on the hilt of his sword. He, like Peter, was the king once more.
