Hermione Pov
I was many things, but a "groupie" was never one of them. I would rather be digging through Hogwarts a History instead of sipping firewhiskey and listen to pounding music. But, Ginny had a very generic view on pleasure. I shook my head, annoyance flittering through my gaze. I gazed down at myself, my nose scrunched. I wore a tight deep grey dress that clung to my body, enunciating my curves. Ragged black lines curved along my waist. I let out a huff, as I gazed at myself through the mirror. Not too shabby. I thought, as I ran my fingers through my auburn hair. My old frizzy hair from my school years was replaced by bouncy, riveting curls. My petite body filled out in all the right places, catching many's attention. I guess i'm a fairly attractive, accomplished young woman. I had graduated Hogwarts as valedictorian and later became an Auror along with my two best friends. I had everything I wanted. Well, except a companion. Harry was always so smitten with Ginny, and they married two years after graduation. Ron had met Lavender again through the Ministry and were expecting their next child. But, I still was here, just Crookshanks and I.
"OI!" cried a redhead "C'mon 'Mione! Let's go!" I slipped out of my bedroom and faced my fireplace. Are you actually doing this? I let out a nervous gulp. Ginny turned to face me her eyes suspicious. "You're not backing out now, my dear." I let out a shaky breath. Let loose Hermione. Have some fun, be immature for once. I straightened my posture, and gave a confident smile.
"Let's do this, GInny." The redhead chirped happily, tugging me forward with a sharp tug. Seconds later, we had dissapeared.
Draco Pov
I let myself drown another cup of the bitter amber liquid. I squeezed my eyes shut as the liquid left a burning trail down my throat. Before I could ask for another, a flash of bronze caught my eyes. I adjusted my chair toward a leggy brunette. Her long chocolate tresses swayed softly as she tilted her mouth toward the shot glass in her hand. I watched her adam's apple bob as she eagerly sipped the drink. I watched with amazement at her figure. She swirled around on her stool, humming a soft melody. I strode forward, sitting at the seat next to her. She stared off into space, not regarding my presence. After a couple moments, she spoke.
"You have pretty eyes, and a great face too."
"Yeah, you too." Her head tilted to the right, her eyes studying my face intently.
"Your eyes are silver."
"Yeah."
"They're beautiful." I was stunned. Many called the Malfoy eyes scary, intimidating, but never beautiful before. I clenched my eyes shut, abruptly looking away from the girl. Beautiful? They're the eyes of a killer.
"No. They're not." My hand curled around the foot of the stool, trying to contain my anger. I shakily looked up at her and saw her expression. Her face was pained, worry marred her face, making my heart clench painfully. She's too pretty to be upset. Before I could swing off my stool, her hand clutched at mine.
"Don't go." she rasped softly. My head snapped up to meet her eyes. I didn't know what to do, or what to say. I just couldn't let her go. I felt as if I were under an Imperius curse. My breathing grew ragged as we stared. Complete silence rung between us. Without a single thought of hesitation, I pressed my lips to hers. She melted into me, digging her fingers through my scalp. Her long slender legs wrapped themselves around me as I cradled her in my arms. I couldn't think coherently, all I needed was her.
