"So, how was it?" Levi asked, sitting on his chair in that slouchy way of his.
"Cold"
"Come again?"
"Levi, oh I'm sorry, CAPTAIN, I was wearing a vest, a t-shirt, a jacket and a cloak and it was fucking cold" shivering at the memory, you pulled the shawl more tightly around you.
Levi leaned forward and took a sip from his cup. You watched him curiously. Being in the Levi Squad was hard. Heck, just being a Scout was hard, especially when one of your best friends, Petra, was murdered by the Female Titan. But, any signs of discomfort or sadness had never crossed Levi's face. After returning the teacup to it's saucer, he took notice of you staring. He raised an eyebrow. You quickly moved your E/C orbs to look at a spider on the wall that was really starting to bug you.
Bugs were the only things that scared you. Titans, you get used to it. Death, it's overrated. At least Titans just looked like humans with some weird disability. Bugs were disgusting, with large eyes dotted with squares. A shiver ran down your spine as you remembered when a fly landed on the bridge of your nose and you got a close up of its eyes.
Levi followed your gaze. "A spider?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.
"My arch enemy." you said your best dramatic voice.
Letting out a small chuckle, Levi stood up from his seat and began to walk away. "Hope you defeat your 'Arch Enemy'in battle. Anyway, I'm going to bed."
"Sleep tight, don't let the titans bite" you said in a sing-song voice, grinning as you watched him walk away slowly. To be honest, you didn't know why you didn't follow him because as far as you were concerned, Levi never slept. One time, you followed Levi when he was going to his room and found by peeping around the door, he would just change and practice combat. Despite how interesting it was watching him move around the boxing bag, punching it like the bag of sand had said something to insult him, you had never went back to spy on him.
Sighing, you sat up and stretched your muscles. Picking up the shawl, you headed through the doorway to your room. Closing the door, you changed into a pair of maroon red shorts and a loose white tank top. Slipping under the white sheets, your mind went to the subject of what kind of relationship you had with Levi. All things considered, you were quite close. He treated you like, well sort of, a friend. When you had qualified as a member of the Survey Corps, Captain Levi was the only person who caught your eye. Shaking your head, you close your E/C eyes and sank into a deep and relaxing sleep.
