By Taking the Hand of a Lonely Wanderer

I live life lost and lonely

Void of the extraordinary.

Spending days grasping

For that tiniest glimpse of a sign

Of foreseen of dreams so shy.

A breeze upon still, calm air

Mystery beyond my window waits

A Stranger walking from the shadows there.

I'm eager to follow out the gated garden

To see what about him I could find

Oh and so much did I discover

As he took my hand and promised me wonder

Across the stars and through such times

No longer was our life the friendless kind

Traveling on and never turning back

Of course not all was fun and games

Some places filled with dark demons and pain

But even then we could muster just

A moment of laughter amongst each other

I was living my wildest dreams' adventure

That lonely wanderer and me.
