Disclaimer: Yu-Gi-Oh belongs to Mr. Kazuki. I only own Xanzar and the tribe.

One spring day in Domino City, a group of friends, minus two ancient spirits who hated each other, were sitting under a tree in Domino Park. The two spirits, Yami and Bakura, were once again arguing. It concerned the Sennen Items, only this time, it was the Ring in particular.

"Thief, I think you've truly lost it once and for all," the ex-pharaoh said to the other spirit.

"How have I lost it pharaoh?" Bakura snapped back.

"Well considering that you're suddenly claiming that the ring wasn't created in Egypt…" Yami said, giving Bakura a 'you have lost your mind but don't want to admit it' look.

"Maybe the ring really isn't from Egypt," Yugi said.

"Yugi, please don't tell me you actually believe the tomb robber," Yami said.

"I don't," Yugi said. "But, maybe we should at least hear what he has to say first."

The others, minus Yami and Bakura, nodded their heads in agreement with what Yugi suggested.

Yami sighed as he was outnumbered, "Fine. Let's hear your story tomb robber."

"Thank you," Bakura said as he started to tell his story.

"It was three thousand years ago. Back then, I was the leader of a warrior tribe. Because of our status as a warrior tribe, others tried to attack us. Most of the attacks were unsuccessful however.

One day, I was fed up with the fighting that was going on between my tribe and another tribe. Therefore, I went to speak with the leader of that tribe. At first, I thought we would come to a truce but that didn't happen. Instead, he turned on me and had his best warrior kill me.

After I died, my son Ryou ("Don't look so surprised hikari.") became the tribe leader. The tribe was forced to leave their home, but on the night before they were supposed to leave, my son gave an offering to the altar of Xanzar, our god. My son was angry with me and Xanzar knew this, so he made the Sennen Ring. At my son's request, Xanzar sealed my soul into the ring until it had come into possession of his descendant that looked like him and shared his name."

"There is no way that story is true," Yami said finally.

"Oh it isn't, is it?" A voiced asked him.

The group looked to the voice and saw a man with long ,white hair, white, somewhat bushy eyebrows, a white goatee, a shield, a spear, and dressed in tribal clothes.

Shocked, Bakura was able to utter one, single word, "Son?..."
