I am Plague

Disclaimer- Warcraft and all of its characters, sites, places, etc. all belong to Blizzard entertainment. A few characters in this story belong to me and are of my creation.

Author's Note:: Yes, I authored "Plagued One," and yes, this is a rewrite of it. I was not satisfied with "Plagued One," so I began writing this to replace it. I hope my older readers will like it a little more than they did before.

Prologue: Entry I

Dear Diary:

My name is Maye. I am Forsaken.

There isn't much to tell about most of my family. My father, however, is a different story. He is called Mashote by his people, the Bloodhoof Tribe. He is a very brave man. He has been my inspiration, my standard for myself, and my driving force since I could remember. I remember quite a lot.

I always knew I was different. My family are Tauren, and I most certainly am not (at least skin-deep). I was never told the full story of how I came to be a part of this family. Then again… After a while I realized that I didn't want to know. I didn't need to know. I only wanted to know that I was a part of a family like these Tauren had, and that they had always provided it for me. I was home.

Of course the illusion I had cast over myself was bound to fail. I eventually learned of my biological human father, (how disgusting, the thought of once being human repulses me,) and I also learned of my old family. In this journal I will chronicle the life-changing events that I went through in just a year. I sincerely hope anyone who finds this after I am truly dead puts it to good use, as a tale of inspiration and everlasting peace.

Sincerely, With Love,

Maye

Author's Note: Just a journal entry by Maye. I think the format of the story as a whole will be mostly story-progressing chapters with entries by Maye in between them ever so often. I plan on the entries being similar to commentary on the story, (which WILL be told in the third-person perspective,) and hopefully they will give a little bit of insight to the chapter preceding and succeeding it. Until next time, --Emanon.
