The life and Times of an American Commener in Japan
Chapter 1.

Jessica's lunch

My life seemed to be perfect. I had the girl of my dreams, I was the best club a guy could join, and I was going to the school of my dreams. What more could one guy ask for? Well let me start from the begining. My name is Zebule Manthonwy. I am 15 years old, live

in Sparks, Nevada and attend Sparks High School. Ok, now that introductions are over I can start the story.

It was a little hard getting up this morning, because I had been up all ninght tossing and turning.(You see, i'm an insomniac.) I was almost late for school! If it weren't for the the fact that i lived across the street from my school, I probably would have to have gotten a tardy slip. As soon as everyone was seated, my teacher, Mrs. Muffin( her suited her well, on account of, she had huge hips that made her lower half look like a muffin), passed out these flyer's advertising a scholarship. Now, normally, i would have just thrown it out, but this was no normal scholarship. This was an all expenses paid scholarship to the elite, prestigous, and exclusive Ouran High School! All i had to do was meet some requirements and answer an essay question. The requirements were easy and so was the essay. The requirements were that I had to come from a low income family, done! I had to have a 4.0 GPA, done! And finnaly, I had to speak Japanese, done! The essay question was almost to easy. The question was, "If you could go to any high school in the world, where would it be? Why?" I think it was a trick question or lunch, I went to find my friends and tell them that I might be going to Japan for high school. My friends, Jessica Anderson and Jerilyn Blanc (for some reason, they insisted that they were twins even though they looked nothing alike and Jessica was born a few months after Jerilyn) Jean-Marie Clymer( we call her jeanie for short), Ashlee Gwinner, Marlisha Gregory, and Jason Stevens, were in the choir room fighting over who got to eat jessica's lunch today. "I want it!" Ashlee and Jeanie said. "No, I want it!"Marlisha yelled back. "It's Jessica's lunch, why do any of you guy's get it?"Jerilyn screamed. While they were arguing, I went over to Jason. "Hey, you don't Jessica's lunch?" I asked him. "No. I don't care who get's it. Just as long as I get to eat mine."he said while eating a chicken sandwich that smelled like tuna. Things were starting to get ugly between the others, so I went and interveined. "Hey! Why don't we let Jessica eat her own lunch for a change, and we can all go get food from the caffeteria." I said. After we got lunch and went back to the choir room, I told them about the scholarship.

Author's Note: Well this is the end of chapter 1. Please keep reading my story as I post it. I do not own Ouran High School Host Club. Please comment!
