The buzz and bustle of the hospital operated all around, as patients were shuttled back and forth with doctors shuffling behind imperiously.

Running a hand through her thick mane of crimson hair, a teenage girl glanced about covertly. Her trench coat made her stand out all the more, and she stuck her hands in the deep pockets. For an Alliance hospital, this place sure has little security.

Latching on to a large family, she traveled inconspicuously at the edge, keeping her gaze averted downwards, with her eyes flicking up every so often. Finding her turnoff, she disappeared down a hall with the trench coat flapping behind her.

She strode quickly down the deserted side hallway. Her large emerald eyes flicked quickly over each labeled door. "No, no, no," she murmured.

"Hey, you can't be here!"

Turning, she saw a flustered-looking man in a white lab coat. Quickly, she plastered a surprised and confused expression on her face. "What? What do you mean, I can't be here?"

"I mean, you can't be here," the man said, pointing back the way she came. "You'll have to come with me."

I don't think so. "Sure, whatever you say," she said meekly.

The man took her arm. "What's your name, young lady?"

He didn't see the blow coming as she swept her leg under his and knocked his balance out from under him. Spinning, she delivered a snap-kick that drove him into the wall. The guy's head lolled to the side, unconscious.

"My name's Garyn, Garyn Maxwell," she said grimly, locating his ID. "For the record, of course."

Dragging the guy into a closet, she exchanged her trench coat for his white lab coat. "There, now I should look official," she said. Standing, she continued down the hall.

As she reached the door marked "Observation," a huge explosion shook the hospital. "What?" Garyn exclaimed, bursting through the door. The observation booth was not empty, as she guessed. A man was in there, laying on the floor, unconscious or dead she couldn't tell, and frankly she didn't care.

Staring down into the chamber, she saw two dark figures, both teenage boys, make their exit through a blasted hole in the wall. "No!" Garyn gritted. "Damn it, I can't believe I missed him again!"

Slamming a fist against the sizzling equipment, she turned.

Well, Heero Yuy. If you want to be difficult, you can be difficult. I'll find you, one way or another.

Her fists reflexively balled, nearly quivering with rage.

I'll find you ... and I'll kill you ...

Well, that's just the start of things. As you know (if you've read my bio, that is) I've just seen the first seven episodes. Basically, this will be a series behind the scenes, as one character (and more, later on) try to get in touch or contact various Gundam pilots … for vengance, or maybe something else. Curious? Then read on…

And don't forget to review, please!
