Luxanna Crownguard sat atop a remote cliff that faced the boundless Demacian Coast, whose water was clear and calm. She was accompanied by her totally-not-boyfriend Ezreal and together they were simply enjoying the little time that they had with each other by locking lips. Luxanna pulled away from Ezreal, flashing him a wide smile.

"I thought you were the man of this relationship, Ez. You can't have me starting the kiss all the time!" Luxanna taunted, earning reddened cheeks from Ezreal.

"Hey! I'll have you know that there's good reason as to why I don't start our kisses." Ezreal paused, trying to think of an excuse.

"It's because you're too busy being shy, Ez. We've been seeing each other for a while now, and the fact that you still get shy is…pretty pathetic, really." Luxanna said, nonchalantly twirling her hair between her fingers and shrugging. She was trying to ruse some confidence into Ezreal by mocking him.

Without warning, Ezreal grabbed the back of Luxanna's head and pulled her into another kiss. It lasted for a while before Ezreal finally stopped, with him flashing Luxanna the smile this time. "How's that for shy?"

"I read you like one of your maps, Ez." Luxanna giggled, resulting in Ezreal's confusion. Ezreal shrugged and faced the coast, noticing something unusual.

"Does the water look darker than usual to you?" Ezreal inquired.

"Looks like the same old regular water to me. How about you show me how that confidence of yours again?" Lux said suggestively.

A few hours passed by and Luxanna had fallen asleep. Ezreal was busy surveying the water below, swearing to himself that it had been getting progressively darker. The water was no longer calm but was instead rampant as large waves crashed violently into the cliff wall.

"Luxanna, wake up! I think something bad is going to happen soon." Ezreal shook Luxanna lightly to try and wake her up.

"Huh?" Luxanna awoke and yawned loudly, rubbing her eyes. She was still in a sleepy state. "What's happening, Ezreal?"

"The water is acting crazy! Just look!" Ezreal pointed Luxanna's head towards the water. Luxanna gasped, gripping Ezreal's arm.

"What's wrong with the water? It looks…sinister!" Luxanna pulled Ezreal closer to her, secretly hiding a smile.

"I have no idea, we should get some Demacian officials her-ack!" Ezreal was interrupted by Luxanna, who clamped a strong hand around his throat. She lifted Ezreal up from the ground, leaving his feet to dangle in the air. She walked to the edge of the cliff, Ezreal still in her grip.

"What…what…what the hell…are you doing?" Ezreal barely managed to squeeze out those words as Luxanna's grip around his throat tightened. Luxanna smiled wickedly as she swayed Ezreal above the waters below.

Ezreal shut his eyes and tried to convince himself that he was dreaming. When he opened up his eyes again, he saw that Luxanna's eyes had been replaced by two fires that burned intensely.

"What…what…" Ezreal couldn't finish his sentence as Luxanna snapped his neck. She cast his lifeless body into the waters below, quelling its rage.

"The Chaos Knight claims this realm as his own!" Luxanna bellowed. Her voice had been replaced by something much more disturbing, a voice that was not her own.
