Note: Ok..So this is depressing and made me sad. But I'm feeling kinda sick and was listening to a depressing song so…..this is what you get. I've never written a sad story and constructive critism would be great! Thanks!

Turns out Inuyasha's not invincible. He can take million's of wounds; the slashes of swords, the smashing of his bones, even the dreaded "sit". But, one thing's for sure; Inuyasha's not bulletproof.

Never again would anyone hear him speak. Never would they feel him love. Never would he laugh. Because, that night Inuyasha died, He was among the living but his body was like an empty shell; walking, falling, learning, but never feeling.

"KAGOME!" He had tried to run, but everything was so slow. He couldn't get there fast enough. Kagome fell slowly, eyes wide from shock. When she finally hit the ground it was like the world stopped, like time no longer existed. Kikyo, the one who had pulled the trigger, she looked the boy with a side glance, her eyes were full of hatred, accomplishment, pain, and betrayal. She shot him a satisfied grin before turning and running.

You could hear the sirens and see the people that had started to gather, they began talking, yelling. But to Inuyasha it was quite. He could hear nothing; everything around him was dark as he dropped to his knees by kagome. She was breathing heavily, eyes almost closed. The eyes that were always so full of life were now dull with death. But even as she was dying the girl was still able to smile. She was amazing, she could accept the boy who was neither human nor demon, not only accept, but love too. And the half demon had loved her too, so much that he had went and bought that ring. The ring she was going to receive that very day, but, now she couldn't.

The paramedics had arrived; they looked at the girl and knew she wouldn't make it. As they looked at the boy beside her the shook their heads sadly. He couldn't believe it. It wasn't possible, how could it happen. It was his fault. He shouldn't have left her for that stupid ring; he should have let her come in with him.

"Sir?" One of the paramedics touched his shoulder. He didn't move. The paramedics shared a look.

"Sir, could you tell us who did this?" The boy didn't respond and stared down at the girl she had stopped breathing but was still looking at him and smiling. How could she smile…even if she knew she was going to die? As the hours passed the crowd left and the police had already taken the girls body. But, the boy continued sitting in the ally, staring at that spot. The spot where her body had landed, when that bullet went through her heart.

That night, everyone heard a broken boy scream.

That night, they heard his dreams shatter.

That night, people heard a heart shatter into thousands of pieces.

That night, the world stopped to mourn.

That night, everyone knew that Inuyasha was not bullet proof.
