Jason Todd, age twelve, was most definitely not lost.
If you had asked him, he would have denied it, as a matter of honor.
But the odds of meeting anyone out here in the middle of the freaking wilderness (ok, ok, a quarter mile away from the city part of Gotham city) was pretty slim. A while ago he had passed a house with a sign on the gate, some weird dragon sounding name, but there had been a kid in the front yard ("whatchu lookin' at?") so robbing that house was off.
Plus, he really wanted to rob Wayne manor.
What person raised in crime ally wouldn't want a shot at whatever valuables the so called prince of Gotham owned?
But he was starting to think Wayne manor was a myth, because he'd been walking forever and hadn't seen anything.
Except the super classic car rumbling towards him.
Jason Todd signed and walked to the side of the road. Last time some rich jerks had seen him he'd gotten three soft drinks thrown at him.
Idiots. It wasn't nearly as funny as they'd thought.
"Excuse me young man, are you lost?"
Why, British dude, you don't think I'm good enough to be in your neighborhood?
"Nah, I'm good. I'm just… walking to Gotham city."
"Well I'm afraid you're walking in the wrong direction, Gotham is the other way."
Ok so he probably could have come up with a better excuse, but that mustache was really distracting.
"Oh. Ok I'll turn around."
Man, there was no way he was going to get back to his bed before dark. Great, he'll probably get mugged.
"May I offer you a ride, young sir?"
Depends, are you a kidnapper? Because getting kidnapped by a British child smuggling gang sounded absolutely fun-tastic.
"M' ok."
"I assure you, you're not in any danger. And it's a rather long walk back to the city."
Weeeell…
He did have his shiv in his pocket.
"Alright, thanks."
Wow, were these car seats real leather?
"Where can I drop you?"
Don't say crime ally, there was that other fancy name. What was it?
"Um, park row."
"Are you sure? That's not the nicest street."
Well mustache man I'm not the nicest kid so there.
"I'll be fine. I'm pretty self sufficient."
Ooh, big words, that'll scare him.
"As you with, young sir. Here we are."
Ah, crime alley. Home sweet home.
New writing style, what do you think?
Also, Wednesday is my Eighteenth birthday, so here's my present to you ^^
Love you all, my wonderful readers.
