Asriel sat in his normal spot in the ruins, growling "I can't believe a HUMAN is stronger than me." I glance at him, pulling my cloak hood down "Shut up Azzy, I don't care anymore. You keep complaining about it, just accept it's true." I mutter. He stares at me. He had a scar over his eye and an ear torn off. His cloak was a dark green, about the same emerald color as his eyes. "I'm going to tend to the flowers." I said, as I walked out of the room, heading to my normal spot in the ruins where I had fallen down a long time ago.
What I am greeted with is not just the golden flowers.
I cup my hands over my mouth to keep from screaming. A human. the first in ten years. I ran to their side, kneeling by them. They were lying on their back, the light shining on their pale gold skin. "Are you okay?" I whisper. They slowly got up. They had a torn blue short dress with a fluffy pink collar, a pink ribbon tied around the waist. The edge of the sleeves and skirt were aligned with pink fabric. They nodded, and stretched...
My eyes widened
Huge wings. Covered with feathers. I took a step back as they yelped and grabbed one of the wings. I hadn't noticed how mangled and torn it was. "A-An angel..." I summon my soul. Red, half of it fading into shadows. They tilted their head, spilling their messy brown onto one shoulder. Her blank-slate face turned into one of worry.
