Why?
Why was it that every time Tsukimori Len spoke to her, even looked at her his heart stopped? It made him angry and mad, at the same time happy and sad. Angry that his heart did this every time, mad that she didnt know what she was doing to him. But happy to know her a little more every time they met and sad when ever she left his presence.
Every night he would come home and practice his violin. He could clear his mind and not know about anything that was going on around him. He could play the most complicated pieces and not miss a note. But yet he couldnt figure out why such a simple girl, not to mention a very clumsy girl, could make him feel this way. It would haunt his mind in his sleep, invade his mind at the worst times possible and still keep him sane and normal.
Everyday at school, before first bell rang, she would greet him with that bright smile of hers and tell him good morning. And all he could do was glare at her and give her a slight nod.
He covered his face with his hands and sighed. Why? Why did she have this effect on him? Why was it that everything he did to impress her, made him think she hated him even more? And why was it that all he could do when she was around him, was glare and ignore her?
" Tsukimori-san! Answer me!" The girl yelled. She was the editor of the paper and was pounding him with questions.
" Like I said I have no comment!" He said, mad that she was pestering him again. An idea came to his mind and he decided it was as good as ever. He looked out of the cornor of his eye and seen the practice rooms. It was a shot but he was going to take it. Len dashed down the hallway ignoring the rants of the mad girl.
He opened the door to the nearest room. Without knowing who was in there already.
" Tsukimori-kun hello. What ar-" Hino was cut off when Len put his hand over her mouth to quiet her. He could hear the footsteps of the annoying girl. Then just as suddenly as they came they faded out. He released the red headed girl and sat down on the floor.
" Tsukimori-kun whats the matter?" Hino asked as she kneeled down beside him. He took advantage of the closeness and grabbed her hand.
" Just be quiet. Please Hino-san? Just for a minute." He pleaded her. His head spinning, he noticed that she had settled beside him and was looking at him with her amber eyes.
" Okay." She said quietly as she could. And for Len it was good enough, he grinned faintly and rested his head on Hino's shoulders.
" Thank you."
