Amy stared at The Doctor. Her eyes narrowed a little as she looked him up and down, he eyes flicking over his slender shape. She brought her hand to her face, biting the nail of her forefinger in thought. She loved him. She always had, how could she not? He allowed her to escape her boring life, gave her hope when she was little. So she loved him, she shrugged it off. There was not much she could do about the situation she supposed. She couldn't just stop loving him with a snap of her fingers, but this was not good. Good Lord, this was not good.

The Doctor stared at Amy. She was the same little girl who had given him fish fingers and custard and had waited outside for him all night, she was the same little girl who prayed to Santa and was afraid of the crack in her wall. He loved her, he shifted uncomfortably, this was Rose all over again, - And if this doesn't end well.. No, it was going to work this time, he wouldn't leave her and she wouldn't leave him like all his other companions had. But she was just a little girl a short time ago, No, I am over nine hundred years old, he thought, – It won't work.

"Doctor?" Amy asked snapping him out of his train of thought.

"Uh, Yeah?" He asked.

"Can we go to another planet? Preferably somewhere warm and sunny." She smiled.

"To space Florida!" He beamed, causing her to laugh at his childishness.

"Darn." The Doctor muttered, never failing to not swear.

"What?" Amy asked, her right eyebrow raised as her mouth turned down in a slight frown.

"We're stuck," he groaned, "kind of like, in traffic I suppose, it should take about an hour of waiting to get to space Florida." He said, shrugging, his mouth turned up in an apologetic smile.
"Okay," Amy said, her hand running through her hair, "why don't we play truth or dare while we wait?" She asked, "it may be childish, but there's a reason it's a classic," she shrugged.

"'Okay I guess," The Doctor agreed. "Dare me then," he smiled.

"Hmm, I dare you to kiss me!" She smiled brightly as The Doctor blushed and awkwardly leant towards her. This would be his first kiss in this body. He awkwardly and lightly pressed his lips to hers.

"Truth or dare?" He asked. Trying to hide his blush.

"Truth," She smiled.

"Why did you want me to kiss you?" He asked, his lower lip jutting out.

"Because I like you," She shrugged, a ghost of a smile gracing her lips.

"Yes, well I like Shakespeare but I can honestly say I've never kissed him..." He pouted, "well...if you count that one time..." He trailed of shaking his head, "never mind," he said quickly, "moving on..."

"Yes, but I love you," she said gently, a soft smile playing on her lips.

"Oh, well I..." He interjected, blushing again, "I think I might like you that way too," He said with a sigh, giving in.

"Great!" She beamed. "It's settled then, we're dating."

"I'll never grow old!" He warned.

"Then there's no rush to get married."

"It could be dangerous living with me in the Tardis forever."

"I like danger," She grinned.

"Someone could get hurt," He almost sang.

"That's fine, because you're a doctor," She smirked, pleased with the comeback.

"Then Pond, I guess we're dating," He smiled, kissing her quickly again. Then blushed and looked away. "To space Florida!" He yelled.

"To space Florida!" She smiled at him. The Doctor would never change.
