Ritsuka stared up at the white ceilling, thinking about the day. He listened to Soubi's steady breaths; it was comforting. Seimei... up until he met Soubi, Seimei was the perfect brother. Seimei protected him from his mother, Seimei was his role model, Seimei was his everything.
But, what about the Seimei everyone else knows? What about the Seimei outside his world? Soubi, that idiot. Soubi liked Seimei because Seimei gave him what he wanted. Soubi liked Seimei because Seimei ordered him around, made him feel pain, because Seimei was his master.
Kyo hated Seimei for what he did to Soubi. Seimei hurt Soubi's teacher, Ritsu. Seimei left both his fighters. Seimei wanted Ritsuka to come with him, to forgive him just because Ritsuka loved him.
Why didn't Seimei understand? Just because you love someone, doesn't mean that whatever they do doesn't matter to you. If you love someone, you would get more hurt if they did something wrong. You would be the one that wants them to stop them most, because it's wrong, because you care for them. Why? Why didn't Seimei understand it? Why wouldn't Seimei stop? Why would Seimei hurt others like that? It made no sense.
Nothing made sense anymore. Nothing.
This kind of came out of watching the Loveless anime for the first time. I'm taking requests for drabbles at my forum. (Link in the profile.)
