She slammed against the wall once more and then flew across the plane interior to smash against the window. Grasping on to whatever hand hold she could, Lois glanced out the window to see how close the red planet was getting. She wasn't scared. Not a bit. Not of Clark not coming through for her, for all of them.

She had only felt real gut wrenching fear when she didn't think that the Secretary of State wouldn't listen to her. Wouldn't give the Blur a chance to save them all without risking so many casualties.

Something was approaching the plane at such a fast pace, Lois had so to squint her eyes a bit to focus. Maybe she needed to acknowledge the fact that it was time to get glasses. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw a red and blue BLUR fly towards the plane and disappear from sight. The plane began to right itself and the interior alarms had gone off.

He did it. He'd found his wings and his suit apparently.

Clark said Jor-El had taken it away because he hadn't earned it. It looked like her favorite Boy Scout had patched things up with Jor-El and was earning his way back into good graces. When they most needed him. Her cousin's words came back to her. When he does decide to take to the skies, he will need you to ground him If she didn't know any better, their lives had just gotten way more complicated. But they'd work through it.

She let out a sigh of relief. Now he would take care of the looming Planet and save them all. She looked out the window in wonder as Clark flew up back into her line of sight and she felt herself getting choked up as he floated closer. He braced his hands on the side of the plane window and looked at her gently as she could only smile at him in wonder.

"Thank you" she mouthed.

He nodded at her never breaking eye contact and then she clearly saw his lips form the words, "I love you."

"I love you" she said back and placed her hand against the window and he mimicked her movement.

"Go." With a nod, he pulled back still watching the plane, making sure she and everyone else on board were all right. She saw him in the full suit, in all his glory. He was amazing. This was the man he was destined to become all along. He took off in a flash towards the planet and was gone.

Lois wiped away a stray tear and pulled away from the window. It was safe to stand up again. She caught a corner of something black peeking out from under the table. Yes. A video camera. Turning it on and facing her she began recording.
"This is Lois Lane reporting for the Daily Planet on Air Force One."

"Miss Lane." She sat up straighter and turned the camera around.

"Mr. President!"

"What just happened? Was it the Blur? Did he save us?"

She smiled her signature up to something grin. "Yes sir he did. And I think I can speak for him and say he is no longer the Blur. He's not hiding his face or staying in the shadows any longer. And I think I've got a new name for him in my next article!"

She pointed out the window and the President watched the activity outside of the plane in amazement. She's been referring to his Super abilities all afternoon. It was only appropriate that he was named for what he was. A Superman. She smiled to herself and then stood a little straighter. She cleared her throat.

"Mr. President, now that we're in good hands, I was hoping you had some time for some questions?"

The end!
