A/N: Welcome, welcome. I wrote this as an assignment for my sign language class. This is based on the song Lucy by Hanne Hukkelberg from the Prince Caspian soundtrack. I highly recommend you listen to that song while you read this, though you might want to have tissues on hand just in case. Signing this story while the song played in the background nearly broke my heart. I hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I can't. Too many feels. Just can't.
The young queen looked around her. Her surroundings were familiar, yet unfamiliar at the same time. Her brothers and sister, her fellow kings and queen, were feeling the same as she. They felt a sense of home, yet that Home was far away.
As was the One who brought them to their Home.
Sometimes, the young queen had a thought that her Home wasn't real. That it was just a dream.
But the young queen knew it was all real. It wasn't just a dream. For every time she saw a field in bloom, or the sun rising behind the mountains, she knew. He was there. He was with her. He was with them all.
She, her sister, and her two brothers were crowned by Him. He named them rulers over their Home. The young queen knows that she belongs here now. Her Home doesn't need her or her siblings right now. Their Home is in good hands. But it's hard for the young queen to let it go and leave her Home in the hands of others.
But the young queen still knows that every time she sees a field in bloom, or the sun rising behind the mountains, that He and Home are nearby. She knows that, when He calls them, she and her fellow kings and queen will return to their Home.
A/N: Anybody still with me? I didn't break anybody did I? Please review and let me know what you think! Thanks!
