It had been a few months before anyone mentioned anything to Bobby.
And he took it rather well, according to whoever had been in the room at that time. He laughed outright when Kitty asked him if he knew where Rogue had been last night, and was she with Logan.
He had bit his lip and nodded slowly when Peter had told the breakfast table what had happened and what he had hear when he had tried to wake Rogue up that morning.
And when Scott had mentioned the growing issue of last night's escapades to Jean and Warren, and left the bewildered group with their mouths open to go "check what the day's classes were".

But he didn't.
He let her leave him for the one man who she really belonged to, and he hooked up with Kitty.
He killed her three days after, on accident, and his apology was left in the dirt.
He eventually left the X-Men and got the cure.

He died in a hospital at 27, and when she heard, Rogue cried and cried, and blamed herself for him dying. She had left him, he had loved her.
Logan stood by her side when she and the rest of his past friends went to Bobby's funeral, and he carried her home when she couldn't herself.
He would always be there for her.
