"I am so sorry." The woman said and handed Olivia a napkin.

Olivia took it and started to wipe the coffee off the front of herself. "Don't worry about it." She said and smiled.

"But your shirt." The woman started.

"Club soda." Olivia stopped her. "Gets any stain out."

"And your coffee?" The woman asked.

"I can buy a new one." Olivia said and looked behind her, seeing that the line had grown she frowned slightly.

"And the line?"

"Well," Olivia paused like she was sharing a secret. "The line will move."

"At least let me pay for your coffee." The woman said with a hint of playfulness.

Sensing a shift from an apology to subtle flirting Olivia bowed her head slightly and blushed. When she looked back up she saw a blonde enter the café.

"Actually," Olivia said and moved her eyes back to the woman. "It looks like my girlfriend might need one too." Olivia said and pointed to the A.D.A

"Oh." the woman said clearly embarrassed.

Olivia was next in line, she bought four coffees. She turned and handed two to the woman. "See that woman over there?" Olivia asked.

"Yeah."

"Her name is Abbie, and I think she'd like you, and this" Olivia pointed to the coffee on the left. "Is her favorite kind of coffee."

The woman smiled. "Thanks."

"No problem." Olivia said and walked away. "Here you go. Now you don't have to wait in line." She said and handed a coffee to Alex.

Alex smiled. "Thank you." Alex said and took it. "What happened to your shirt?"

"I was getting Abs a date."

"Do I want to know?"

"No."

"Okay, new question."

"Yes?"

"Why was that woman staring at me?" Alex asked.

"Because I told her you were my girlfriend." Olivia replied as though it was obvious.

"And why did you do that?"

"Because, if she knew I was single she wouldn't want to go out with Abbie and that was the whole point of this expedition."

"That's the only reason?" Alex asked.

"Well that and," Olivia paused to look at her, "If I was out with her tonight then I wouldn't be able to go out with you."

"Are you asking me out Benson?"

"If I say yes will you?"

Alex smiled and kissed Olivia lightly on the lips. "You should run into random women more often." Alex told her.

"Is that a yes?"

"Pick me up at eight." Alex said as she walked out of the café.

Olivia looked behind her at Abbie, they exchanged knowing glances. Looks like their plan worked out well for them both.
