Disclaimer: I do not own Mai Hime, but I will borrow a few characters for the remainder of this poem.
AN: This is my first fan fiction/poem and my first time writing on this site. Hope you enjoy it. A little AU, Petrarchan sonnet.
Mai Hime
A cold pale moon wanes in the dark,
Midnight blue hair whipping around.
Not another soul, a room of no sound,
Bright emerald eyes glaring behind bark.
Chestnut haired girl following the mark,
That lays on obsidian, frowning for she is bound,
To a man she does not love, keeping her feet on the ground,
Even if she wishes to fly off, never to park.
Guilt wells within the blue haired one,
For she dwells in her deep sorrow.
Happiness had taken off like a dove,
Confession never to be done.
Slipping lower down the tree, she weeps for tomorrow,
Chestnut haired girl never knowing her love.
