Tonks couldn't believe it. How could Remus have left her in her time of need? It wasn't like the responsible Remus she knew. But then it must have been his worst fear - having a child because it may have Lycanthropy. She was safe at her mother's home, but her father had gone into hiding for fear of Death Eaters and Ministry people, for he was Muggle-Born.
"Dora, honey, it will be alright, Remus will come back. He's just in shock and he's feeling afraid." Her mother, Andromeda, reassured. "Now come and have some breakfast."
But would it he come back? Tonks didn't really feel comforted.. The only reason she grumpily ate the bread with butter and jam was because of the little baby; it was common sense that it would need food to grow. But really the bread just tasted like stale bread with some greasy stuff on it.
Far away, Remus was livid. How could Harry have responded like that! As if it was in his right to judge him, with how he feels right now! But then his feelings changed. Remus remembered what Harry had said. He guessed he should go back to Dora.
Dingy Ding Ding went the doorbell.
"I have got to fix that horrible doorbell, but Ted isn't here to help. He was always good at those spells. I'll go get it." Andromeda announced.
"No, please let me." Dora pleaded, desperate to stop eating this foul tasting food.
"Okay, honey, if you're sure."
"Yes, I am definite."
"Okay then."
Dora opened the door and was shocked out of her wits. She shrieked.
"Remus! I can't believe you came!" Dora vociferated, forgetting all her anger towards him. She hugged Remus so tight that he had to choke, "Dora please, I can't breathe."
"Oh sorry, I just can't believe it!" replied Dora excitedly.
"Dora, are you alright? What happened?" Andromeda queried after hearing the shriek all the way from the kitchen, which was more than a two dozen metres away.
"Yes!" Dora cried, pulling out of a long-awaited kiss.
Dora came into the kitchen, with Remus standing hesitantly behind her.
"Remus! I knew you'd come!" and Andromeda embraced him in a hug mothers are so famous for.
"Harry was the one who made me realise how wrong I was to leave both of you, especially when Dora was pregnant. I just can't forgive myself if our child has my the curse of my condition." spoke Remus shyly after the long hug. "Can you forgive me, Dora? And you too, Andromeda?"
"Of course!" they both replied happily in unison.
