If words could only describe the way I am feeling. My emotions feel all mixed up, and I'm not even really sure of what I'm about to do: leaving a land that I once loved behind for a brand new world. My life before now is just a memory, for this new start is where I believe I belong.

A soft, calming breeze flows through the leaf village Konoha on another spring morning. The grass and trees are coated in the daily fresh dew, and the air smells crisp and clear. Sakura is out on her morning errands when she stumbles across something peculiar: a woman. Now, a woman is normally not an odd sight but this time the woman is face down in the middle of the street. She runs over to make sure the mysterious woman is alright.

"Hello, are you okay?" Sakura asks while shaking the woman. A dull mumble reaches her ears, so she tries again.

"Ma'am?" she asks while shaking the woman once again. This time it spurs a reaction as the peculiar woman puts her hands out in front of her and pushes herself up into a sitting position. The woman looks around, and spots Sakura sitting next to her.

"Uh…hi? Who are you? And where am I? What am I doing here?" The woman wonders out loud.

"Oh! Well my name is Sakura, and you're in Konoha. But I'm not really sure what you're doing here. I just found you lying down in the street, so I came to see if you were alright. What's your name?"

The woman looks at her dumbfounded. Konoha? What? And my name? I'm not even sure….

"Well…my name is…uh…" She tried pulling a name out of her head to give Sakura, but wasn't coming up with anything.

"You don't know do you? You don't know your name? You must have hit your head really hard then," Sakura said. "Well how about until you remember, you use the name Mayu?"

The woman thought it over. Mayu, I like the sound of that.

"Alright, Mayu. Well it will work for now. Thank you." Sakura helps Mayu stand up and get adjusted before taking her to the hospital.

"I think it would be best, just to make sure you are really okay." Sakura explains. Mayu just nods in agreement. Not even sure what she's going to do without her memory.

Mayu is examined by Lady Tsunade, and is told that she had a severe concussion. It's amazing she even lived through it.

"Your memory loss is attributed to the concussion. I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but however you fell, your head hit the ground incredibly hard. Your memory might come back in patches, and all of it may come back. Of course there's the alternative to that to: never getting any of your memory back." Lady Tsunade explains to Mayu and Sakura.

"For now, I would like you to stay in Konoha until you regain your memory. You can stay with one of our shinobi. Why don't you come with me to my office so we can get things settled out?"

Mayu only nodded, and walked along side of Sakura following Tsunade back to the Hokage tower. When they arrived, Tsunade went immediately for her desk and shuffled around some papers before speaking up.
"It looks like the only place available is the home of Kakashi Hatake, I'll have to talk to him before you go over there, but I'm sure I can convince him to allow you to stay."
