The cold wind was blowing pretty rough in the freezing area. A big snow truck drove nearby and stopped. Two guys stepped out of the truck and walked over to another man that was waiting for them.
"Are you the guys from Washington?" The man with a light asked, his stick had a little red light at the top that wasn't very bright, but you could easily see from a distance.
"You get many other visitors out here?" The guy on the left asked, joking.
"How long have you been onsite?" The one on the right asked next.
"Since this morning" The first guy said calmly as he could. "A Russian oil team called it in 18 hours ago" He explained as they kept walking with a few other guys with little red lights walked a bit away.
"How come no one spotted it before?" The guy on the left asked, slightly surprised and curious.
"Really not that surprising" The first guy said, "this landscape is changing all the time, you got any idea what this thing is exactly?" The wind seemed to be getting worst as they kept walking.
"I don't know," The guy on the right said, "probably some weather balloon" The first guy shook his head.
"I don't think so," Started the first guy, "you know, we don't have the equipment for a job like this" The guys were quiet for a second.
"How long before we can start craning it out?" The guy on the right asked. The first guy chuckled a bit. "I don't think you quite understand," The first guy stated as they got on site. "You guys are gonna need one hell of a crane" They looked forward instead of the first guy and stared at it in shock as one man was on the wing of it and others were standing around the ship.
A little while later they got a laser crane to make a big hole for some of the men to get down. Two men got inside the ship and looked around for a second.
"Base, we're in" The first guy said. "Copy that" The man on the radio said. They started looking around, amazed by how advanced it looked for how long it was in the snow.
"What is this?" The first guy asked, a bit confused. He started walking closer to the area where the ship must've held the controls. The second guy wasn't walking as fast as the first guy, still in awe of the ship.
The second guy had walked past the first guy onto the bottom of the little steps, but nearly fell backwards. He grunted as he caught his balanced. The second guy looked slightly amused by that. "Careful" It had a light amusement to it, but mainly a serious tone.
They walked towards the front part to see where the controls would be. The second guy walked closer, his flashlight was trained on one spot as he crouched down, making some of the snow and ice out of the way, he spoke to the first guy.
"Lieutenant!" The second guy called out, not caring he was a little farther behind, looking at the walls. He turned to the first guy, "what is it?" The first guy was in shock.
"My God," The first guy said a bit quietly, but loud enough for the guy one the radio to hear, "Base, get me a line to the Colonel" He said the second part a bit louder.
"It's 3 A.M., sir" The man on the radio informed the first guy. "I don't care what time it is," He looked at the red, blue, and white shield with a star in the middle. "This one has waited long enough"
