Emotionless

TMM isn't mine

Pai was angry but he wouldn't let it show, other than a raised tone to let Kisshu know his prank had not been well received. His face would remain the same as ever, stoic. He never used his emotions, there was a wall around them, keeping his mind and his feelings separate, it was a must in his job after all wasn't it? Show the enemy how you're feeling and present them with a weakness that could ultimately destroy you. That was how it was now, and always had been.

His moment of weakness, the first time he'd shown anyone some emotion and it had been the moment of his own death and for what? To save the lives of those he had been fighting. That had been his downfall, those girls, or at least, that girl. He'd spent his last moments thinking about not his life but the life of another and he'd smiled. He'd been happy. It had felt warm, looking back at her and knowing that his death would not be in vain but to save the lives of five people. To die for the greater good of the world he had sought out to destroy.

Damn that girl, he was blaming this on her, in fact he could because it was her fault. She'd changed his perspective on that world and the humans that resided on it, what was it about her that did that? She questioned everything, she cared about more than just herself and she was the complete opposite of what the aliens had been taught humans were. She didn't deserve to die and that was why he saved her, it was the only reason no matter what Kisshu insisted. Pai refused to believe anything else, the wall was there for a reason, and no girl, no matter how beautiful and considerate and caring she was, could break through that.

Pai was emotionless.
