Okay, so this story is basically a quick one-shot about what Kagome does when she has seen Inuyahsa cheat on her one too many times. I got the idea and the storyline really from the song Take a Bow by Rihanna. For those that know the song, you'll be able to recognize some of the lyrics that I use in this short one-shot.

Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own either Inuyasha or the song Take a Bow by Rihanna.

Kagome was mad. No, mad wasn't a good enough word to describe how she felt at that moment in time. There was no word strong enough to describe the turbulent emotions that coursed their way through her system. She was so sick of him, so sick of his lies and stories. Though she had to admit, he had put on quite the show.

All those times he told her that he loved her. That she was the only one for him in his life. All of it was nothing more than a crappy re-run of some romantic love story. He pretended to be the one that would be her knight in shining armor. The one who would wipe away all her tears, fight away all her fears, and instead he broke her heart. He broke her deep inside, simply because he couldn't be faithful. No, he preferred a dead woman made of clay to the living breathing person that she was.

Kikyo had looked so sickly satisfied of the hurt on Kagome's face too. So happy that she had finally forced Kagome to walk away from the man she had loved for so long. Of course Inuyasha had chased her down. Of course he tried to win her back with the same sweet words and empty promises. He followed her all the way back to the village, begged her forgiveness, even cried, and all Kagome could do was laugh.

"You're not sorry Inuyasha, you're just sorry you got caught."

Her words cut him deep, words that he knew to be true. Even though he knew that she was right, he couldn't help but repeating the same thing over and over again.

"I'm so sorry. I love you Kagome, she means nothing to me."

Empty promises. Empty words. All lies. All she could think was how he could win a award for all these lies. Though, the one award, the greatest award she had to admit, would be the award for convincing her that he could be faithful. That he could love her, and just her. That he could be happy being with her for the rest of his life.

She laughed bitterly then, and caused him to look up at her through his own tears.

"Please Kagome." he whispered, hoping that perhaps she would believe him one more time.

"You look so dumb right now." She said harshly, causing him to prickle in anger.

"Get out of here Inuyasha. That was quite a show, very entertaining. But its over now, so go ahead and take a bow."

With that said she bowed herself, as if she had known that she was playing a part in his farce of a fairy tale romance all along. Then she walked away, leaving the stunned hanyou to wonder at what had just happened. She left him to realize that he had lost the one good thing in his life because of his own lies and unfaithfulness. He had played her the fool, and in itself played himself a fool as well.

It was over now.
