I was humming, working down below The TARDIS, fixing some things that might cause The TARDIS to have a sort of defunction sequence, long story.
"Doctor, you're doing it again." I looked up to River through the glass roof.
"Oi, I was just humming love." Rolling my eyes, I grabbed my sonic screwdriver to help me fix the engine.
"Doctor, have you seen on the internet lately?" River asked, wonderingly.
"I have all of time and space under my finger tips, why would you possibly wonder if I go on Twitter?" I looked up again at River who was staring at the screen. I wondered what was so important on the internet.
Locking the last thing in the engine, I quickly climbed up back to the top of The TARDIS. I rushed behind River, trying to see the screen.
"Look, sweetie." I saw the website was called fanfiction, I think I've heard of it once or twice, never really mattered to me.
I looked at the content, there was a big bold title saying 'Doctor x River fic.' it was shame these day's people didn't use proper English, and just carry on busily with such slang.
"I'll read it out to you if I must," River looked eagerly at the screen.
"The Doctor was hurrily pressing things on the console; suddenly a loud sound came with a lightning bright scene behind him. River just teleported in to The TARDIS again. She greeted his wife with a kiss and held her closely feeling the soft curls on her ha-" The Doctor cut her off.
"Where do you find these stories? Did you Google something River?" River turned her back and The Doctor was looking for an answer. His answer.
"I was just searching the medusa cascade on the world wide space time continuum net of the 51st century; the suggested searches came up with 'fanfiction doctor river song' what could I do?" The Doctor perked up, "Not click it." The Doctor sighed.
"Are they based on real events, River?" River was sitting on the spiny chair, as I liked to call it, and was acting all innocent for once.
"I can't tell my love, spoilers." The Doctor walked over to her, she pointed her index finger to her lips, as she usually does when saying spoilers. Immediately after she put her finger down, The Doctor sort of kneeled and started kissing his beautiful wife.
River lost her senses and started kissing him back too, his mouth tasting of sweet custard since he had recently ate fish fingers and custard.
The Doctor put his left hand on River's waist, and his right on River's soft gentle curls. They finally parted and both left out a small sigh, only parting because of the essential need for air.
River was now looking at her diary that I gave her a long time ago, wondering how she fitted so many years of adventurous things in such a small book, even if it was thick. I bookmarked the site fanfiction, as of this experience I knew that it was obviously based on some things, and River would never let me read what is inside her book, so I would be able to find out some things any way.
