Well. This is really only a creative dump. If I'm working on a bigger fic-such as Unexpected-and I get a little idea or if I'm distracted, I'll sketch it out and put it here, perhaps to pick one and expand upon it. Also, a lot of these drabbles are set to songs. This one here is for 'Set Fire to the Rain' by Adele. Thanks for the recommendation, Valk ;D These also will revolve mostly around Tessa, Will, and Jem(and Gabriel ;D) and almost always from Tessa's point of view. This drabble wasn't Beta'd, because my computer's trippin', so it's a bit unrefined. Do enjoy though, yeah?

DISCLAIMER: Not owner of characters, or songs, am I. All to their respective owners they go.

She stared on with a sense of bittersweet satisfaction as the pile of his possessions continued to burn. The bottle of Jack gripped in her right hand was half empty.

She had taken all of his things from her house - right down to the string necklace he'd made for her - and dumped it in a pile in the grate in the backyard. A bottle of oil and a few matchsticks were all it took.

The necklace, though, was still in her hand - the one unoccupied by her vice - and she twirled it's little pendant between her fingers. It was a thin piece of flint, pearly and shimmering in the light of the flames. It was an anniversary present. Two years. Two years of lies and games.

She tossed the infernal thing into the grate, watching as the flames licked at it; consumed it. She was done. Done with him, for good. A grim smile spread across her face.

No more lies. No more games.

No more Will Herondale.

And there you have it. Feedback, if you feel like it. Since this is a dump, it's not really necessary. But I do love to hear your thoughts.

Until next time, dear readers.
