Lullaby for a stormy night
By Nate Riven
Thunder roared and lightning flashed, a small cry was heard.
A blonde headed woman walked into a beautifully painted room of blues and greens.
"Babies its ok mommy is here." The woman walked to a bed that contained to identical twin boys that looked to be two or so with beautiful red hair sticking up oddly. Two sets of green eyes looked at the woman with tears in there eyes.
"Mommy it's scawy, and bowther is scaward to."one child looked to the other who nodded slowly.
The mother sighed, it had gotten better since their father had left. The boys were brave even though they were so small.
"Come here and you can sleep with me tonight." the boys smiled, as the last few tears streaked down there face.
The woman led the boys to her room and placed them in bed. Both holing onto one another as they faced there mother.
"I love you both." she whispered. The boys smiled cuddling into the pillow they laded on.
"We lo'e y'u tooo mommy." they said in stereo falling fast asleep. The woman smiled.
"Thank you god. Thank you for my boys." she said with a smile on her face she drifted off as well.
