An Unexpected Meeting
Lapis flew down the beach near the temple. She had been flying all day and decided to lay on the warm sand. She closed her eyes as the waves began washing over her body and leaving her wet. Peridot flung the door open from the temple and ran down the stairs.
"Lapis, Lapis where were you?" said Peridot. "You told me we would finish watching the final season of Lil Butler".
Lapis opened her eyes with a frown on her race.
"Look Peridot I wasn't really felling myself today. I need time alone," said Lapis.
"You always never feel yourself Lapis. You need to stop isolating yourself from everyone. That's probably why you are always depressed!" said Peridot.
Lapis stood up and gazed at Peridot like a wolf about to kill it's prey.
"Shut up!" said Lapis. "You don't know what I've been through while you were working for Yellow Diamond. Even if I told you don't know how it feels".
Tears began to pour under Lapis eyes and she tried to cover them with her bangs. Peridot walked closer to her but slowly to not make her angry.
"Lapis look I didn't mean it like that" said Peridot. "I just feel bad you are always by yourself all the time. Steven and the Crystal Gems are always on adventures while we both have nothing better to do"
Lapis wiped the tears away with her wrist and looked at Peridot with a smile.
"I know you've been trying to be my friend and I appreciated it. It's just when you've been alone for so long you forgot what it means to enjoy spending time with others," said Lapus.
Peridot grabbed Lapis' hands with hers.
"I'm here for you Lapis, I thought I never needed anyone but myself. Steven made me realize there is more to life than chasing clods." said Peridot.
Lapis bended down grabbing Peridot cheeks. She began to kiss her on the lips. Peridot backed away.
"What was that!" said Peridot.
"It's called a kiss silly," said Lapis.
"Why did it feel warm and good?" said Peridot.
"I heard humans do it to show they love each other," said Lapis.
"Love but I love this planet to I have to kiss it too?" said Peridot.
"No no Peri. It's a different kind of love," said Lapis.
"I don't get it," said Peridot.
"You don't have to just feel it," said Lapis. She began taking off her silk aquamarine dress. Peridot's face began to become flushed.
"Why are you taking off your dress Lapis?" said Peridot.
"I want you Peri," said Lapis. Her dress fell on the floor completely exposing her bare figure.
