"Why don't you jsut tell her the truth?" The red headed pest has been nagging me more and more lately. He wants me to tell Yukina the that I'm her brother. For soem reason he thinks that she'd accept me, maybe even love me, but he has no idea how wrong he really is. Now one could love me. "Well?"

"It's better if she doesn't know." I always give the same answer. I don't know why he thinks that it is going to magically change.

"Why?" I almost cringe every time I hear that question. It's so annoying. Why? He already knows why. I've explained it half a million times.

Rather than lash out at him, though, I simply grabbed my sword and made for the window.
The pesky fox is quicker than he looks, and he grabbed my arm before I could get there, effectively stopping me in my tracks.
"Hiei, if you aren't going to tell her now then when?"
"Never."

Kurama sighed and pouted at me. "I still think you're being foolish. Yukina will love you, if you just give her the chance."
"You're one to talk!" The words left my mouth before I could stop them.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that you're being a hypocrite. When, exactly, do you intend to tell that human woman, Shiori, just who, and what, you really are?"

I could see the horror flash in Kurama's eyes, if only for a moment.

That was the last time that he ever nagged me about telling the truth.
