I couldn't help it. Set before Mavis met Johnny. Contains reference to the rest of the Guardians. Based on the comic More than Myths by rivermer.
Mavis Dracula, the daughter of Dracula, stared at the falling snow outside of their residence, fascinated
"Hey dad." She called.
Her father stopped in the door.
"Yes Mavy-wavy?" The vampire asked
"Does Jack Frost exist?"
Dracula looked confused "Jack Frost? The one who nips at the noses of children?"
Mavis nodded "Yeah. The same one who brings the snow!"
Dracula rolled his eyes "No Mavy."
"Huh?" Mavis wondered "But aunt Tooth said that a little less than two-hundred years ago a Guardian was born of a lake made of ice."
"Well, your aunt Tooth has had one too many mints." Drac thought about what he said "Don't tell her I said that."
Mavis nodded "Yeah, sure. But Bunny and uncle North said Jack makes it snow!"
Dracula sighed. Why? Why had he let those Guardians near his daughter? They are all meant to be myths! But then, so was he and the other monsters.
"Jack Frost is a myth, Mavy. He doesn't exist. And even if he did, Jack Frost! What kind of a name is that?"
"But, daddy." Mavis started, only to be stopped by her father
"For the last time Mavis. He. Is. A. Myth!" Dracula said before closing the door.
"My dad might not believe, but I do."
Mavis sighed, watching the last few inches of moon vanishing over the mountains, but then, something caught her eye. It looked like the shadow of a person. Mavis was excited. She silently squealed
"I know it!" She whisper/yelled before watching the silhouette disappear over the mountains with the snow, signaling the rise of the sun. She shut her blinds and fell asleep with a smile across her face, feeling Sandy's dream sand take hold.
Jack was flying over Transylvania, spreading snow to this area. Nothing of interest was happening. Jack felt lonely, like always, because not a single soul here appreciated what he did.
Oh well. Jack thought On to the next continent.
