CHAPTER 1

FALL OF THE AVENGERS

S.H.E.I.L.D in a matter of a week lost their greatest defense against the forces of evil. One by one all of them fell each via separate cause.

Iron Man (aka Tony Stark) was the first to fall victim to these series of unfortunate events. While heading to a meeting on Monday morning had his car bombed by the driver who exited the car while Tony sat in. The minute Tony was properly seated the trigger was pulled, thus ending Tony Stark. Not the ending to Iron Man we were expecting.

Captain America (aka Steve Rogers) alongside Hawkeye (aka Clint Barton), and Black Widow (aka Natasha Romanoff) died while being transported by plane to Germany. The plane experienced an engine failure which caused it to start going into spiral down. By the time the three of them reached the cockpit it was too late. The plane crashed leaving nothing, but a pile of ash, and the carcasses of the crash victims.

Hulk (aka Bruce Banner) found himself in a tight while working spot while working in a nuclear plant. The plant had experienced problems in the past, but none as bad as this. The reactor had started to heat up throughout the course of the summer. The reactor reached critical, and it would have destroyed all of Florida if it wasn't for the Hulk. When Bruce found out he rushed to the core room, and changed into his Hulk form, and through him absorbed all that radiation .At a cost though. The radiation from the reactor resulted in him dying of radiation poisoning there falls another avenger

Thor, how can he die you must wonder, well he doesn't he has a different fate awaiting him, and the cause of are four letters, L O K while in Asgard was cursed by his brother to remain in Asgard forever, and never return to Earth, so the only avenger alive is rendered useless.

There you have it the fall of Earth's mightiest heroes. The forces of evil must see this as a chance to strike, but little do they know that out of this era of darkness a new light will emerge stronger than ever being there to avenge the Earth.
