A/N: This was something quick I've wanted to get into words for some time now. I've seem to hit a writer's block because of stress, and this seemed to calm me. I personally love this pair because of roleplay, with how much potential chemistry they possess. They're very intense but serene. I enjoy the combination. It's quiet, personal, and because of Albafica and being a walking STD, dangerous. Enjoy~

At times, Dégel thought he was safe from the outside world, despite his conquest as a Saint of Athena. No one could touch him—save for a few moments of blazing reality, revolving around a very noisy Eighth Temple guardian—so long as he buried his thoughts within the words, the tomes, the pages. The smell of old parchment and dried ink sending him into a world unknown, even the simplest of sentences, fiction or non-fiction. He was encased within his cool, leather bound cage, daring only to explore from the confines of his library.

This was until a danger approached— a deadly force so quiet, even the muffled rain resembled thunder claps. It started with the scent of roses, wafting through the old tomes and strangely enhancing the quality. It began with a sweet song, and Dégel could have sworn the Pisces Saint was a siren tucked inside human skin. As the lullaby hushed the countless philosophies and doctrines, gentle hands turned them to dust in their wake, crashing the letters like towers around Dégel's secure confinement, thrust into reality while he drank every movement in, memorised every word delicately, and how those lips circled its mother tongue.

In bright, uneven splotches, the earth and its decadence seemed distant, despite being neck deep in the non-reality from the beginning. His eyes lingered, gazing only into the solemn ocean, cerulean and cavernous. This complimented with the daytime heavens of pale blue as silk tumbled over golden armour. The skyline and the sea, captured in one divine creature as the fingers innocently danced along the stories' spines. Beautiful did not cover it, for his true destination could not be found in beauty alone.

Aquarius Dégel was not merely regarding the warm, yet hesitant smile, or the smooth plains of a pale neck. For a moment, a rip in time, he was staring into a hurricane.

And for once, he happily embraced reality.
