Jordan: Im surprised only one person writes this stuff, don't get me wrong, that story is rockin, but this pair is awesome. And I don't own Degrassi.

It was the night before the wedding. Declan was getting married to his girlfriend of many years; Holly J. He felt seriously anxious, and not because he was getting married. He had been waiting for this for quite a while. He was anxious because he knew what was going to happen soon. Somehow, he knew that his apartment door would be host to a few knocks.

He could hardly hear it over the music. But he knew the pattern of rapping on his door. His name in Morse code. And only one person ever did that.

He took a deep breath before approaching the door. Taking time to unlock the deadbolt and loosen the chain and finally turning the doorknob. And outside his door; as he expected; was a tired and depressed looking Riley Stavros.

"Riley. Why?" He said softly.

"I. I. Declan can I come in?" His eyes pleading and on the verge of tears.

Declan bit his lip. "Riley, you're always welcome."

Declan closed the door and turned around silently.

When Riley saw his eyes, he lost all will power and fell to the ground bursting into tears. "I can't." He looked up and met Declan's eyes. "Declan. I." Those blue orbs were glaring into his eyes. Not the ones that used to bring him joy. These eyes held fear and they intimidated him. They were as if they laughed at him. As if they saw into his soul and tormented him. "I still love you Declan. I never stopped."

Declan stood up and turned around in an attempt to hide his face. "Riley, I'm getting married tomorrow and I'm not going to run. She's done nothing to deserve that. And it doesn't matter how I feel, because it won't change anything."

"It matters to me. It does change things. And it always will. You mean so much to me, that what you say affects how I think every day." Declan stared right into his eyes, such a similar blue yet so different. Pleading for an answer to the question unasked.

"Riley." He paused. "Riles." He used a moniker long-since abandoned. "I do still love you. But I'm still getting married. And unless you've changed your mind, I'm expecting you there next to me." He said with an air of finality.

"Can we just forget everything else? Just tonight. Let me be me and you be you. No pressure, no marriages, no Peter for me, no Holly J. for you, let us be us. Please."

"Okay." He leaned forward and placed his lips upon Riley's. The last kiss they would ever share. And the only thing; barring an arctic storm; that could've made Declan's feet even a degree cooler. That and those beautiful eyes. Little blue circles that Declan knew better than his own. Those eyes that would always be the only two that Declan knew. Two of a kind.
