Dark Mario
"Mario! Peach is here!" Luigi shouted to his brother.
"Oww! Let go of me you scamp! Oww!" came from the bathroom.
Luigi heard Mario thump to the floor. When Luigi reached the bathroom, he saw Mario on the floor with black blood streaming from his nose.
"I didn't know Mario had black blood," said Peach, who had come up behind him.
"Neither did I. We'd better get him to Toadley's."
"Agreed."
"I don't agree," a growl came from the doorway.
"Bowser!" Peach hurried to Mario's side.
"What in the…never mind! Beating you will be a piece of cake!"
"Meaning you're going to beat me up and capture the princess?"
"Ah, but which princess?"
"Huh?" Bowser and Luigi looked in Peach's direction. Instead of one princess, there were two!
"As I said before," one princess began.
"Which princess?" the other finished for her.
"Wait a sec, you have a necklace," he pointed to the princess on the left. "And you have a brooch!" he pointed to the one on the right.
"Brilliant, Sherlock, I never thought you would've guessed," the necklace princess clapped.
"Uuh…"a groan came from Mario.
"You didn't tell me he was hurt that bad!" the necklace princess exclaimed as she looked at Mario.
"You didn't ask!" the brooch princess retorted.
"Oh, never mind. (You never can count on sisters to do the right thing.) she muttered. Out loud she said; "Let's just get Mario to Toadley's."
"I'm all for that!" the two princesses disappeared with Mario.
"Umm. That was strange." Luigi commented.
"Yeah, strange…uh, what's up with Mario?" Bowser had to ask.
Luigi explained it to him.
At Toadley's…
"You'd think it would take a shorter time to get the most powerful person of his century to get into the clinic, wouldn't you?" the necklace princess asked.
"Yes, I agree. Oh, and not to mention the fact that I'm a princess should help a bit too."
"Indeed, dear sister."
"Oh, sister."
"Shoot, lost my chance at a bit of sarcasm there, sis."
On an unrelated note, can you tell which one is Peach yet? If you read my How they met story, you would find some vital info. Read on fellow Mario lovers!
"Princess Peach, please come in," the nurse announced. The brooch princess got up and went into the inner room.
"Here's to a long wait," the necklace princess announced to apparently no one.
Seven hours later…
"Sis, wake up. C'mon sis, quit it with the snoring," Peach tried to shake her sister awake.
"I don't snore, Peach," Dawn stretched her legs in just the right position to flip Peach.
"Ouch," came from across the room.
"You got a problem with sibling rivalry?" Dawn glared at the boy with the pointed ears slouching in his chair.
"No, but I think you can get a little bit pushy." By this time, Peach had peeled herself off the floor.
"No, she just doesn't know her own strength."
"That would explain a lot of things. So, why are you here?"
"A friend fainted on the bathroom floor."
"Mario," the twins looked at each other, surprised.
"Smart kid."
