Poem #1: Why, Claude?

A killed! Alois poem

Claude.

I know you didn't love me.

I know why you killed me.

I know that all you really care about is him.

But you knew I loved you.

Why, Claude?

Why couldn't you just play along?

Would it have been so hard to simply fake it?

Couldn't you just pretend?

If not for me, then for him?

I wanted to hear you say it.

Just once.

Even if it was a lie.

"I love you."

Three words.

Three syllables.

No meaning.

And you never would've told me.

Emotion is a powerful weapon.

You didn't kill me by breaking my neck.

You used that void, emotionless heart of yours.

To cut open mine.
