"Sara, come on!" Michael called from the water.

Sara stood on the beach staring nervously at the water before her.

"No way!" she rebelled shaking her head and crossing her arms over her chest. "I've seen the movies and the documentaries; there is no way that I'm getting in that water."

"What exactly are you afraid of? Fish, crabs..."

"Sharks, Michael! The water is practically flooded with them."

Michael burst out laughing. He never thought Sara Tancredi would ever be afraid of something as trivial as sharks, especially after everything they had been through.

"It's not funny Michael. Didn't you ever see that megaladon movie? Those things can swallow you whole!"

"Sara, Megaladon's have been extinct for thousands of years. I doubt one is going to come back from the grave just to eat you."

"Not true. Marine biologists say that there is a small chance that they are still around and I for one don't care to take that chance. Can you imagine if you were swallowed by one of those things? You'd be alive inside the shark's stomach and all you can say is 'Oh crap I think I was just swallowed by a freaking shark.'"

"Sara..."

"Nope, don't wanna hear it. I've made up my mind and you can't change it." Sara said moving a little further up the beach and sitting on the towel she had set out earlier.

"Okay, I guess you're right." Michael said gesturing to someone behind her.

Lincoln and LJ quickly made their way over to her and grabbed her by the arms before she could stop them. With Lincoln on one side and LJ on the other they drug her effortlessly over to the shore. Ignoring Sara's protests they threw her into the water.

Michael quickly pulled her up from under the water to help her stand up.

"It's okay, I've got you." he said as she clung to him.

Sara made a move to try and get back out but Michael pulled her back to him.

"Sara, I promise I'm not going to let anything get you."

"But what if a shark comes by and gets you than whose here to protect me then?" she asked nervously scanning the water.

"Then while he's eating me you'll have plenty of time to get out of the water." Michael said earning a huge smack in the arm from Sara.

"Not funny."

"Just trust me okay? I love you too much to let anything ever happen to you." he said giving her a reassuring smile and wrapping his arms tightly around her.

"I know. I love you too." she replied burying her face in the crook of his neck, no longer worried about the sharks.

Sara felt herself relax, right now she knew she was on the safest place in the world; Michael's arms.
