Prologue
Winter sucked in a breath as a doctor wearing a white suit and rubber gloves neared her holding an array of needles and syringes. She held out her arm and barely flinched as a large needle penetrated her skin and mysterious blue liquid was injected into her arm.
He marched out of the glass chamber and sealed the door behind him. She watched him fiddle with some chemicals and mixed two vats of back-ish goo. She watched him pour some into a syringe. She began to feel a wave of drowsiness and slumped down to the floor. But, the worst was yet to come.
She let out a yelp as her body was taken over by a wave of spasms. She could see, out of the corner of her eye, the doctor writing down some notes on a note board. Wow! Not even concerned she thought sarcastically. It had been years since her capture, and not even once had they been concerned about her.
'Now to the charge chamber" The doctor commanded
She wiped the drool for her mother, still recovering from the spasms. She stood up, a bit wobbly. When she did not move fast enough, the doctor screeched, slamming his clipboard down on a table.
"# 3087, Move Move NOW" He bellowed his face turning slightly red.
She quickly scampered to the chamber. It was glowing white contraption. With a small stand surrounded by giant curves that looked like parentheses. She stood up on the stand and, with the pull of a lever, the side curve started spinning. She was being exposed to radiation and energy of all sorts. So much power, that it lifted her off the ground so that she floated, paralyzed in the air. A lead casing surrounded her, to protect the doctors from the radiation.
