Arbeit Mach Frei
I'm currently working on making this into a very strange Grapic Novel.

I stood outside the chain link fence at Auchwitz, absorbing all I saw with a
wince. As the Batman, I wasn't used to being powerless to help anyone.
It was a sensation I never wanted to feel again, which is why I wore the
cowl. I saw a guard hitting a small child with the butt of his gun, and
my blood ran cold. I may have taken an oath not to kill, but if I ever
get my hands on these damn Nazis I swear I'll kill every last one of
them.
I don't care how unarmed I am. I'll take on these rats with my bare
hands. If I can save just one innocent victim it'll be worth it. I
take a pen knife from my belt and carve a small hole in the fence.
The guards take notice quickly, and their rifles are swiftly pointed in
my direction. The coward's weapon. I jump into the air as the guns
are fired, and a few smoke grenades put confusion on my side again. I
hear someone shouting German as I throw a rope over one of the barracks
and climb on top of it.
As I run along the roof, my boots clanging on the cheap metal surface,
I hear more gunshots zinging by. Suddenly I hear a loud bang. One of
the bullets had just struck the side of my head, I could tell my ear had
just been blown off. I screamed. It was the last sound I ever heard.
Soon, there was total silence. I dropped to my knees, clutching my
head. I don't know when I fell off. I just felt myself hit the ground.
When I opened my eyes, there was a gun against my head.
I don't know what death feels like. I don't want to find out yet.
But I have a feeling I'm about to.
