Thy Hands Doth Remind Me
Thy hands doth remind me
of time passing
of beauty fading
of love neverending
As they bend
and toil
print
and knead
~
Time holds no meaning
to
this ever-travelling wanderer
~
But as I find
my way into your arms
those hands
of soft
gentleness
becomes
my last stop
~
And as the hands of time
push forward,
these hands
on my lips
my arm
my ear
my smile
my heart
my soul...
...
...belong only to you
~~~~~~~~~~
This is kind of a thank-you poem to all the authors [MissBehavin, Chiki, Wistful-eyes, Alea Seikou, Dustyfall and Queen of Koorime] and readers out there who have read my work. It would have been nothing without your constant encouragement and constructive criticism. I am forever indebted to you. This poem of Kenshin finding his way to Kaoru, or Aoshi returning to Misao, is akin to us authors never-ending search for perfection. It's always there, out in the horizon, may we find it one day.
And to my true inspiration, Jerjonji and Tsuki-san: This is a dedication to your brilliance, your genius and your undying friendship. I smile at every word you write, and cry at every emotion your character feels. Thank you for your wonderful inspiration and love.
