I made my way up the drive way to a large plantation house with apple trees and open fields. I turned around and began walking back. No, you're a big girl you have to do this or you'll regret it. So, I stalked up to the front door before I lost my confidence and knocked on the door with bravery I didn't even know I possessed.

It hit me when none other than Klaus himself answered the door that he could say no. he could tell me to get lost, he could have a new girl. He's over a thousand years old he has had plenty of other girls, prettier girls than me. It had been 3 months what if he had forgotten me?

He looked at me with a shocked face his mouth in a wide 'O'. "I didn't think you ever wanted to see me." He said after the world's largest awkward pause I had ever experienced. I choked this was it, he didn't want to see me, he had forgotten his promise of showing me what the world-what he- had to offer.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have come." I spin around to run away before he grabs my arm and turns me back around to face him, "Not that I'm not enjoying your being here." He amended I looked up from the ground at gazed into his eyes through my lashes.

"You don't want me to leave?" I asked him, my voice shaking with fear that I was failing to control. He tilted my chin up in his direction showing a gentleness he showed no one else. "I never want you to leave." He spoke with all of the love he had contained for her over the years- the love and emotion he had bottled up- until he spoke that one sentence and it flooded out into the universe and her ears.

She looked up again and saw that his mask of indifference and uncaring was gone and in its place only love and adoration. They exchanged an unblinking, unmoving gaze until their lips finally connected sending shock waves down all over her.

When they finally came back up for air their eyes locked again and he spoke with the same softness as before. "I need to tell you something."

She saw fear in his eyes and immediately knew it was serious. "What is it?" I asked worriedly.

"Remember Hayley?" when I shook my head yes he continued, "She is pregnant…with my child." My first reaction was to scream and cry. I was shocked what the hell when did they- wha- How could he?

"You mean as in she's going to pop out a mini you?" I asked, I knew it was a stupid question but I was so shocked I could barely process my own thoughts. "Do you love her?" I asked after finally calming my brain down enough to ask the question.

"No. We were drunk and I was sad." He answered. He was looking at me with concern and I could see he had tears in his eyes.

I thought for a moment. I had travelled here and gotten this far, she had wasted so much time denying how I felt already, she didn't want to throw away another minute. But could it work? Hayley and I aren't exactly BFF's and she could never give him a child. Hayley and him could start a family, and who was she to get in the way of his happiness.

"I can't give you a family-"I began before I was interrupted, "I just want you." He said with a finality and decisiveness I couldn't help but admire.

"Really?" I asked I stared at him again he was looking down at the ground not meeting my eyes and saw the whisper of a smile grace his lips, "Really." He replied

I grinned, "We'll figure it out." His head shot up and he stared at me in amazement like he was seeing me in a new light, "I mean I'm not thrilled about the whole you and bitch wolf shacking up and having a baby together, but I love you enough that I want to at least try." He grinned to match my own "you love me?" I nodded yes and if possible his grin grew wider, "Thank you. For giving me a shot."

"Come on, give me the official tour of your new creepy house." He just kept smiling and grabbed my hand leading me into the house and fresh start.
