She was in a cage...
With a blanket on top...?
Were...were those...chains? On somebody's hands? Oh they're on hers... why? Had she done something? Is she in prison? She couldn't remember... actually she couldn't remember anything...
"Now, for the specialty prize of the day, a girl at the age fourteen. She is a foreigner with delectably white skin and some unique blue eyes. No one is looking for her so you don't have to worry about a thing."
There was a man out there...
"She had a lot of makeup on when we found her so we expected her to look atrocious if we took it off but it turns out she looks even better without it! Isn't that a delight?"
No... makeup? They took her makeup off?! And people were going to see her like that?! No! She had an obvious fear of having her makeup removed and people seeing her without it.
The haze that had been in her head was slowly, oh so slowly, dissipating but it was, just the same.
"And now, for the grand revealing!"
The blanket was pulled down showing a girl clad in nothing but a white lace thong hanging on a rest in the cage with chains on her legs and arms. She had short brown hair with two longer pieces in front and bangs. She slowly opened her eyes to show that they were in fact a almost gray blue color. There was a short pause from the crowd as they were stunned by her absolute angelic beauty, then screams.
"50,000,000 YEN!"
"60,000,000 YEN!"
"70,000,000 YEN!"
"80,000,000 YEN!"
"100,000,000 YEN!"
"130,000,000 YEN!"
"All in cash."
_Alita: those of the winged_-
Katsuo looked over at the girl who was covered with his coat. She seemed to had fainted while he was moving her to the trafficker of sales told him that the handlers may have been to careless and overdosed her with the drug used to make the merchandise foggy and too weak to fight back. It was supposed to clear up within the day but Katsuo couldn't be sure. It was also said that they had no name for the girl, but it wasn't a problem for him seeing as he knew her already.
Alita, which literally translated to 'winged'. It was fairly accurate though he knew she would not be pleased when she awoke to the fact that she had been sold and was being held captive. Captive... Katsuo sighed for what must have been the millionth time today.
The car slowed as he saw the large building that he called home.
