Parker ran quickly through the forest not even glancing behind her. She had seen the monster, she new what it looked like, and she would never forget. It's red eyes glared straight through her, and it's black shadowy figure seemed to hiss when it moved. Her eyes had been full of tears and fear, and when it moved towards her, she couldn't move. Her feet had been glued to the dusty ground until she tore her eyes away from it's control. Then she ran. She ran fast leaving the monster far behind. She cried as she ran, not loudly though, in fear of the monster hearing her. She had reached the edge of the forest and saw the castle only what seemed yards away, but as soon as she started to run to it, it stretched far from her reach. She chased after it, her blood boiling, her eyes concentrating only on the cold stone walls. Suddenly she was running up the front steps, the doors were almost open. Then, she was safe. The fire's flames in the Great Hall warmed her skin, gave her a feeling of sanctuary. She could only sit on a close bench and pray the monster was gone. But then, she heard a loud noise near the entrance way. Fear filled her veins and she leapt forward getting a running start towards the nearest corridor. She ran as fast as she could and was about to turn a corner when she landed right into the arms of someone she least expected to see…Harry Potter!
Parker awoke from the dream, her face drenched with cold sweat. She sat up alarmed, looking around. She hopped out of her warm bed and walked over towards her window. She still felt the fear of someone chasing her. That was her one fear. Being chased and caught. She peered out the window watching the street, staring at the flickering light post nearest to her house. Then suddenly she heard something. She spun around her eyes wide. It was a kind of whistling. Her eyes suddenly began to cry, but she stayed calm. She quietly and quickly went down on her knees glancing under her bed. Nothing was there. Then she stood up. The Whistling was growing a little louder, but it was like someone was trying to speak to her. She focused on her window again. She walked slowly over to it, and opened the curtain quickly. To her surprise no one was there, but the whistle continued. Finally she noticed her closet slightly opened. She bit her lip and tasted the salt from her tears. She whimpered on the inside but on the outside barely breathed. Then, she swung open the door to the closet. Her fear had come true….
