Dislaimer: I do not own Card Captors, it is owned by the four women who actually own Card Captors, CLAMP, Nelvana, Kodansha, and any others I forgot I apologize.

A/N: This fic is dedicated to Sumiki-san, who asked for a Tomoyo/Eriol fic, so here it is! Please review. (I know that I haven't written any fan fiction for a LONG time, but that's because I'm working on another fic, which is supposed to be really long.)

A Reassuring Hand

It was raining. Rain softly hit the ground with a light patter, forming little puddles on the dirt ground. Trees swayed in the harsh wind, and a rumble of thunder was heard in the sky, followed by a faint flash of lightning. Tomoyo ran blindly throughout the forest, not knowing where she was going. All she knew was that she had to be alone.

'Sakura-chan.'

Tomoyo slipped and fell to the ground, mud imprinted on her clothes and face. Tears coursed silently down her cheeks as she struggled to get up.

'Ever since Syaoran-kun left for Hong Kong, her mood was always the same - depressed. Her mood affected everyone that she knew. Yukito-san, Touya-san, Fujitaka-san, Chiharu-chan, Naoko-chan, Takashi-kun, Eriol-kun...and me. All of these people seem very depressed; Sakura just doesn't know how much damage she is doing to us.'

More tears fell to the ground as Tomoyo held her head in her hands, when suddenly, Eriol came out of the shadows, putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Are you okay Tomoyo-chan?" asked Eriol, his face etched with concern.

"E-Eriol-kun?" Tomoyo asked weakly, her eyes brimming with tears.

Eriol nodded solemnly, concern still showing on his face.

With new strength, Tomoyo lept into his arms, crying even more.

"Oh Eriol-kun...I miss Sakura-chan's old self...I wish Syaoran-kun would come back to Japan so she would be happy again," whispered Tomoyo, tightening her embrace with Eriol.

Eriol looked sadly at Tomoyo and gently wiped some tears off her pale face. "I know. I miss Sakura-chan's old self too."

He gently let go of their embrace and took her hand. "Come on. I'll take you home."

They walked quietly back to Tomoyo's home, unaware of the rain.

When they finally arrived in front of Tomoyo's house, she turned to Eriol, who looked at her questioningly.

Tomoyo leaned toward Eriol and gently kissed him on the lips. She held the kiss for a while, making Eriol blush a deep red.

"Arigatou Eriol-kun," whispered Tomoyo softly, her lips curving upwards in a small smile.

Eriol still was blushing, and he managed to voice his response. "You're welcome Tomoyo-chan.

She gave him a hug and then ran back into her house, waving happily at him before closing the door.

Eriol stood quietly before the mansion for a few moments, and then walked away, a smile on his face.
