The Tapestry Of Martin the Warrior
The tapestry hung on the Abbey wall,
Standing brave and proud.
Three Warriors standing guard,
All huddled in a crowd.
Two Marlfox and a water rat
Sneaked in silent and stealthy.
They took the tapestry,
Thinking they'd be wealthy.
The flower was visited by the Champion,
Martin, brave and true.
He was told a lengthy poem,
and immanently, knew what to do.
When they had walked the river,
They met the Riverheads.
They made excellent boats,
and slept on dirt, as beds.
Songbreeze met her grandpa,
And fixed the Mighty one's wing.
Saddened by their journey,
Many, a song did they sing.
They found the secret isle,
After a journey of many days.
They got back the tapestry,
And the High King did they slay.
They got back to the Abbey,
As Champion and Log a Log,
They crowned a brand new Abbess,
Why, none other than Song!
