Summary: Leo and Calypso get married and have children. This is a story of how I think Leo will do as a father. One-shot. Hope you enjoy!-22hillel
Setting: Leo and Calypso live in an apartment and have a son named Milo and daughter named Ezperanza but go's by Ez. Milo is 3 months and Ez is 3 and ½. Also they don't know that the gods are real. (Silena is a Percabeth kid.)
Leo's POV
I flop on the bed and would have passed out as soon as my head hits the pillow if Calypso didn't call for me.
"Leo! Will you come here for a second?"
Reluctantly, I went to the kitchen. As soon as Calypso sees me, she says, "I need you to take Milo. I need to take Ez to Silena's house. I know, I could take him with me, but I need a little time away from him." And with that, she plops him into my arms and calls for Ez.
"Who knew taking care of two kids was this much work?" I say as Ez runs out the door. Gods, she's so fast. Well, she is nearly as ADHD as me.
"You should have thought of that before you got me knocked up," says Calypso as she walks out the door with a smile along with a wink and a sexy flick of the hip.
It takes her 30 minutes to take Ez to Silena's house and back. When Calypso gets back, looks exhausted, so I let her take a nap. I'm with Milo 15 more minutes before he goes to sleep and I put him back in his crib.
I stand in the doorway of our bedroom and look at Calypso and I see how peaceful she looks. Does everybody look so young and peaceful when they sleep?
Then I decide to crawl in bed with her. When I get settled in, I notice she's ginning up at me and I pull my arm around her to get her closer to me. "So, Sunshine, now we've got some free time, whatcha wanna do?" I ask, grinning back at her.
"What do I want to do? Just enjoy this moment of peace and quiet."
Just then, Milo starts crying.
"So much for peace and quiet," I say with a chuckle. Calypso starts to get up, but I tell her, "Don't worry. I'll get him."
After I change Milo's dipper, I go back to the bedroom to find Calypso all ready asleep. Not wanting to wake her, I go to the couch and fall asleep.
I wake up to the sound of jingling keys. Ez runs though the door giggling and Calypso is there by the doorway, her arms folded and smiling at Ez.
"Hey, Sunshine. How long was I out?" I ask.
"About 3 hours, Flameo," says Calypso. I love it when she calls me Flameo.
Then Ez comes up and jumps on me, giggling.
"Hey Babygirl, have a good time at Silena's?" I ask.
"We had a great time! So many pranks on Silena's daddy!"
I just had to laugh at that. Of course they would play pranks on Percy. He's so gullible. An easy target for pranksters. Smart of them not to prank Annabeth.
*********** *Line Break*later that night when they go to bed************
I'm on the couch, rocking a howling Milo when Calypso comes in the living room. "Calypso, he won't stop crying!"
"All right. I'll take him. You go on to bed. I'll be there when Milo is asleep, ok?" she says.
"Ok," I say, and then walk off to bed. When I hear Milo still crying, Ez comes in the bedroom with a tear stained cheeks and a quivering lip, probably from a nightmare.
"Daddy, I can't sleep."
"Come here, Princess," I say, motioning her to my side. She cuddled up to my side.
"Daddy, tell me a story please."
I smiled. I've told her many stories with many more to tell her. "Ok. Let's go to your room."
There, I start to tell the story when she cuddled up next to me. "Once upon a time, a verrry handsome boy landed on a magical island called Og-Okliya. On that island lived the most beautiful girl in the world. But the girl did not like the boy at first so the boy. . . " And I went on till I notice her eyes were shut and her breathing is steady.
