Hope It's Snow
SnowXHope
I just had to make a story that plays with their awesome names. Wish you like it.
Contains some fluff(?) and a little bit of sadness…
At the beginning of this drabble it's all the people mentioned in the group, but later on just Vanille and Hope. This was supposed to be a longer story, but I'm probably never gonna finish this so I decided to publish it at least in this form.

"The weather's changing" Lighning said as she looked at the sky.
"Maybe we'll get rain" Vanille wondered.
"I hope it's snow that's coming" Hope accidentally voiced his thoughts half out loud. Then he blushed and glanced at his companions, but they didn't seem to pay any unnecessary attention to him or what he had said. Or so he thought. Vanille gave him a look, as she walked behind Hope, like she understood something.
"Yes. Snow would be better for traveling. We don't want to get all wet after all" reasoned Zach.

Months later…
Hope stepped outside the tiny cave they had been sleeping in that night. To his surprise the ground was covered white. He decided to take a walk since Vanille was still sleeping. He shivered a bit and hugged himself as he walked, since he wasn't yet ready to go back. He stopped in the middle of what seemed like endless scenery of white snow that kept piling up. Then he heard somebody's steps behind him, but he didn't turn around, since he knew who it was.
"Hope" Vanille called his name. "It's snow."
"Yeah" Hope answered and stared at the view. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
"Hope. It's snow" Vanille repeated, but emphasizing the last word this time.
Hope's eyes widened at realization, but he still stood still. He glanced at his friend and his eyes got wet with the tears, but he didn't let a single one drop. His face was a mix of sadness, relief and perplexity. Vanille gave him a look of understanding and nodded with a small smile. A few silent footsteps could be heard behind them in the snow.
Hope's shoulders were shaking from the cold and from something else that he couldn't name. Slowly he turned around and his eyes glittered with the tears and loneliness as they met with someone else's. His expression looked hurt and for anyone who saw it it would've been a heart breaking sight.
Snow piled up. Snow reached his hand. Snow fluttered to the ground. Snow called his name. Snow felt so cold. Snow touched his skin. Snow filled the scenery. Snow was everything he could see. Snow embraced them. Snow embraced him.
"I knew I had hope." "And I wanted snow to come."

Sappy ending is sappy. Wish you liked it. Review! Or don't. But please do. It makes me happy.
