Lips met as if timidly.

There was something about discovering someone anew.

Sheska smiled as she tucked her frame against Jean's, far away from worries and heart ache and sorrowful pasts.

She smiled as she curled up close against a man that made her feel safe and loved.

Jean was her coming home to and the bright light inside her days.

It was odd how time had flown from that first little kiss almost fearful of its bliss.

She'd found a man that loved her unconditionally and best of all, she loved him just as much.

Finally, she had her romance, content with the silly little moments together, the little shop back home in a place that easily became her home, and the little joys of gentle, toe curling romance.

Life could be breathtakingly simple at some points in time and yet so loving that simple seemed bizarre a word.

She melted against a frame that made her smile and laugh and a man that left her feeling woozy with the butterflies in her stomach.

Sheska prayed that this would never go away and longed to just remain by his side and hold him close among every obstacle, the newly retired couple may have to face.

Right now, there'd be a little shop and sweet flowers every once in a while to show how they cared and the littlest of kisses that reminded them of new beginnings and left hearts full of such a blissful and innocent passion.

There'd be time for babies and challenges and joys, and she wondered if truly life had a storybook prepared for them all just like this: perfect and blissful and beyond any old romance that she'd known or heard of.

Sheska smiled as she leaned against Jean who made her happier than happy and left her content enough to savor the little things and be excited enough for what more will come.
