A/N: Okay this just something I wrote for an English exam, it's Sora/Riku, nothing serious so really anyone can read it.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything form the Kingdom Hearts games and I don't make any money from this.

Riku yawned and squeezed his eyes shut as the light beat of his ring tone resonated from his cell phone, pulling him out of his light, peaceful sleep.
Cracking one of his sleep glazed aqua eyes open, Riku peered across his darkened bedroom to where his traitorous phone was vibrating. He groaned and racked his foggy mind to try and remember the reason behind his rude awakening. Riku knew that the only person brave enough to wake him up on a Saturday morning was his best friend Sora, but his sleepy brain rendered him unable to remember why his best friend would see fit to call him today. Deciding to find out what Sora wanted Riku reached towards his phone, whimpering as his sleeping muscles protested and the effort making his aqua eyes fall shut as his silver bangs fell into them.
"G' morning Sora," Riku breathed into the phone without checking his call register. He paused for a second before smiling, Sora making his reason, for waking Riku, clear the moment the burnette had spoken into the phone and his voice had reached Riku's ears.
"Yes Sora, no I didn't forget," Riku scolded himself for the white lie he'd told, "beach today right?"
Riku chuckled as Sora scolded him, Sora claiming that Riku was a bad liar when he'd just woken up. They finished their conversation and Riku cut the call, putting his phone down, Riku rolled out of bed before pulling his curtains open. He squinted his eyes as the brightness of the island sun washed over his face and bare chest. He stayed there in front of the window for a moment, before he moved away so that he could go through the necessary routines that would get him to the beach without fail.

"You know Riku..." Sora trailed off as the two boys curled their toesthrough the hot sand while their lean thighs, backs and shoulders lay against soft towels.
"Yeah, Sora?" Riku replied, turning his head to look at Sora who was staring up at the clouds, his big, bright blue eyes nearly blending with the sight they beheld because the color of his eyes and the sky were so similar. Sora's cupid bow lips parted and Riku frowned as Sora seemed to pause, his speech halting.
"I hate these warm bright sunny days," Sora's eyebrows knitted and his lips pouting Riku looked at Sora, Riku's mouth open and his eyebrows raised slightly in surprise, hearing the word 'hate' coming from Sora's mouth was not something Riku had expected any time soon. Sora ran his long fingers through his own spiky chocolate hair and Riku watched as Sora closed his eyes and sighed. Sora opened his eyes again and looked at Riku, Sora's hand that he had just pulled through his hair knitted with Riku's.
"But you make 'em better, you make them bearable." Sora cocked his head to one side, his eyes still on Riku as Sora watched Riku's reaction. Riku just stared back at Sora, his face holding no clue as to what he was thinking.
"You see, ever since we got back, I've never felt completely happy, not happy enough to be able to appreciate the happiness that a day like this is supposed to bring but," Sora's hand tightened around Riku's and Sora smiled, "when I'm with you, Riku, you make me happy, happy enough to make me be able to like a blue sky day." Sora's smile widened into his signature goofy grin that was all Sora. Riku smiled back and he leaned in, kissed Sora on the cheek and hugged Sora close.
A/N: If I get enough requests in the reviews I might make this into about a three chapter story, of course the rating will go up at the end. Thanks for reading!
