OK, so I know that I need to be writing the next chapter for Fairytales, but I wanted to make this short story to give myself a break from the story for an hour, so... ENJOY!!!!

Falling!

Sam stepped out onto the Window Washer Platform and smirked.

"I'm on here first, so Fleck, I can do our bit first!" She announced and Carly stepped on the windowsill and Freddie pulled her back into the building. He stepped onto the platform with Sam.

"I'm standing here for Carly and Dave and I'm not moving!" Freddie announced with a smile. He crossed his arms and tried not to look down. Sam growled and stomped closer to him, but lost her balance and fell back, hitting the control buttons.

The lift started to move farthyer down, away from the window and as it stopped, Freddie lost his balance and fell. He almost fell off of the hting itself, but caught himself.

"HELP!" He yelled. Sam clung on to the lift herself, trying to get closer to Freddie to help him.

"Don't let go!" She yelled.

"Why would I let go?!" He yelled back, but she didn't answer. Sam slide down a little farther and finally got close enough to Freddie.

She grabbed his hand and pulled him up, inch by inch.

Once up, Freddie too clung to the lift, but his sudden movement shook the lift too much and Sam fell. Freddie quickly grabbed her, but almost threw her off of the lift.

"FREDDIE!" She yelled and he tried to grab her.

"Hold on Sam." He laid on his stomach and placed his shoes in the spaces between the handlebars. He grabbed her hands and pulled. He kept pulling until he finally got her up and as soon as she was on the lift, Sam clung to Freddie for dear life, afraid of falling again.

She was shaking like crazy, as was Freddie, but she was a bit more scared.

"It's okay, Sam. We're safe now." She nodded shakily. By now, Spencer had gotten there and hoisted the two up into the hall of the 14th floor in the Bushwell.

"Are you guys okay?!" Carly squealed and the two nodded.

Later that night, Freddie walked Sam home.

"Are you really okay?" Freddie asked and Sam nodded.

"You?" He nodded, "Um...well, thanks for saving my life." Freddie smiled.

"Same here." They got to Sam's house and Sam went inside, leaving Freddie outside.

Right before he turned around, Sam came back outside, kissed him and went back inside. Freddie stood, rooted to the spot. His eyes were wide. He looked at the door then smiled, big and wide.

"Seeya tomorrow Sam." School was going to be good.
